Everytime I fill up, it never reads full

Hey guys, everytime I fill up my G the needle will never come close to full. Its always half way between 3/4 tank and full. What could this be? I've never actually payed attention to how many gallons it can take, but what does it hold, 20 gallons? Which is def. doesnt seem like it would take that. What do you guys think?

I had the same problem before, it's due to the fuel meter inside the gas tank. You'll have to take it to the dealership to get it service. It's covered under warranty

How about the people that dont have warranty, or own there cars.

it seems as if everyones solution to every problem is taking it back to the dealer

I had the same situation, on warm days the gauge would never read full even though it was filled to the very top. Last week it was cool in SoCal and I carefully filled her to the top again, when I started her up the gauge read "above full." If it's only a summer thing I can live with that, it would have to get far worse for me to take SLICK to the stealership.

I can fill my car up, but the guage is not showing correctly. My wife noticed it the other day after I just filled up.

Looks like I might call the dealer and see if it is covered under my extended warranty.
