Hey guys. I'm about to get a G this week hopefully so I'll be new here. I come from the world of VW's, which to me is the total opposite side of the car spectrum. Heres my baby now..



Unfortunately the motor blew last week which leads me to the new set of wheels! Question though... Does anyone know what trunk lid and back bumper this is?? Ive been searching and searching and cant seem to figure it out..

Looks like the Strafe Trunk or the Hikkata Dori Trunk. The rear is a Chargespeed rear.

Welcome! I came from the VW world too...previous car was a 2002 Passat.

 

Nicee! I actually had a 2002 Passat before I got the Jetta. My little sis has it now. I cant wait to throw some stance on my new G!

 

I don't mean this as offense or anything, but me coming from the fitment scene I have a burning hate for MK4s. I'm sorry lol

But yea that's chargespeed rear and either hikkatdori, Strafe or Mastergrade trunk.

None taken. I can see why you might hate the mk4 based on what you see on most local cars and the way kids get them and throw on a set of Motegi 18x6.5s lol. Thats how most local mk4 kids roll. I hate it too.

But just in my defense, (seeing as how I have owned one for the last 3yrs) they can look VERY tasteful when done up right.

 

Oh I'm not doubting they can look great, I know they can! Bunch of my friends have extremely clean ones. It's just the crowd of idiots that seem to be in it lol

Hope you get the G... I myself had VW GTI 20th anniv before I got the G35. I liked the VW, but I love the G and I know you will too. GL....

Welcome, and clean ride. The one on the right looks like the doriluxe trunk, whereas the one on the left looks like the strafe trunk. I have the strafe trunk myself .
