Such a lucky story?

I bought my 06 G35 coupe 6MT with 36k miles a year ago.

Now that I have 55k miles, I've always been scared of O/C since my basic warrenty is out.

So today, I went into the dealership for regular services and I found out that my vehicle has been serviced in the same dealership before my ownership.

When I look into the details with my service rep, my car actually had an O/C problem when it had 34K miles.

They ended up replacing the long block / engine altogether at 34k miles!
Plus the last owner replaced the clutch + head lights recall!

So all in all, my service rep informed me that my engine's really got 20k miles.
It just puts a big smile on my face.

So I hope I'll no longer have any O/C problem in the future...

Just a happy story that I wanted to share with the community.
Maybe this can happen to you too?

Record says
"During Engine replacement, Tech found flywheel w/ black spots and cracks on flywheel"
Replaced flywheel and clutch kit.

All in all, just very interesting to see what happened prior to my ownership...
I'm just glad that all was fixed prior to my purchase.

Anyhow, people are going random on my thread...
Just wanted to share my story with everyone.

im assuming you got this at a dealership, because i dont think i would forget to tell someone that the engine was just replaced. sounds like the previous owner punched out after seeing those issues.

Yup I bought the car at a dealer.
It came with new brakes and bridgestones.

Just didn't know the engine and clutch was new too
