help...with locking nut key

so i was painting my stock 19's gunmetal and when i was done tightening the locks i twisted the key...can i get a new one from the dealer with my VIN number.....so the deal is that i need a new key or a way to take the the locking nuts and buy a new set from a parts store....thanks in advance...

You'll need a new key unforunately.

Sorry to be off-topic but how did the gunmetal color come out?
It'll be awesome if you can show us a picture.

i'll take some pics tomorrow....but what should i do??? just call the dealer and say i need a new key...might just grab 2 hahaha im always switching wheels and this **** happens bad luck i guess....and everything is closed tomorrow for thanksgiving...

Yeah just call the dealer.
I believe the vin is directly tied to the lock.

Good thing it broke after you're done tho.

I have to agree w/ everyone here. Dealer would have to break the lock nut off the car, or they would have a master key(if that exist). I remember when i lost my key to my other car (long time ago), they have to break the nut off and then i just bought a whole new set of locks w/ new key. but good luck to you man.

The dealer can break them off. ooooooorrrrrrrrrrr, hammer on a 17mm socket and do it that way!
