You never know, give it a shot. When I had 03-05 lights, I noticed hairline cracks on the shrouds as well. Its gotta be a heat issue.

I have a set of 04 lights with no cracks... Might consider selling them... I also have an 06 projector right side (passenger) that I will be listing on the market place in the next day or two. PM me if your interested.

My '03 reflectors were cracked too, both of them. Switched to a new set of projectors from Circle Infiniti and never looked back.

I MOD HEADLIGHTS HERE AND THERE, USUALLY COME ACROSS CRACKED HEADLIGHTS. I'm GUESSING DUE TO THE HEAT FROM THE BULBS

I had both my headlights replaced under warranty the second year of ownership. The dealer tried to blame the crack on the chrome housing from my aftermarket fog/high bulbs. I new he was just BSing me.....and I told him I could show him numerous pics and threads about this on this website. They replaced them both for free and gave me all new bulbs to boot.

Have had no problems since....And I do have my fogs on all the time with my headlights...

I was just out doing an oil change on my car today when I noticed that both of my headlights had a big S-like crack down the middle of the reflective housing inside the light. Pretty annoying that this would happen on so many of our cars.... especially considering how expensive it is to replace a whole headlight assembly. I might do the '06+ projectors next year when the car comes out to play again in spring.

Here is a picture of the crack for those of you who might not know what this crack is that everyone keeps referring to. This isn't the best picture, but it was dark out when I took it. The crack is not in the outside clear plastic... it's on the inner piece that separates the top half of the light from the bottom half.

yep its notorious with the early Gs , i got it in both head lights wiht the same curve hahah if you see the projectors on the newer Gs they have a piece of plastic that covers that portion where itll usually crack

Its the heat from the fogs. I learned after my first set to never use them on the car unless it was foggy as hell
