oil leak help

Yesterday my car started leaking oil. It's a constant drip leaving about a 2.5 inch diameter puddle in five minutes of idleing. I jacked the car up, wiped everything down and started it again. It's dripping off the bottom of the oil filter cooler. It seems to be coming from the back (engine side) and it's not wet on the top, so I think it's coming form the back, bottom area of the oil filter adapter. I can try to get a picture of it if that will help, but does anyone have any idea where this could be coming from or how I get the adapter off to keep looking?

Did you just get an oil change? Reason I ask is because they might have left the old gasket from the old oil filter and your running a double gasket. It could also be the oilf filter housing. Just get it check out...GL!!!

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods
I had to have the oil cooler replaced at about 50,000 miles. The previous owner had tightened the filter too tight ruining the seals on the cooler. I was leaking less than you are OP but from the same area.

It was the oil cooler seal between the cooler and the block. Easy enough once I was able to get the filter off. I changed the oil a few weeks ago and apparently way over-tightened the filter.
