Electronic sound?

Alright so i recently lowered my car quite a bit to where on the stock 19's i have no finger gap at all. I usually go up my driveway almost parallel because when i had my other wheels on it would hit the fender, so i've made a habit out of it.

Well earlier i went up my driveway, but instead of almost fully parallel i turned the wheel a little earlier out of curiosity and i hear this electronic sound / scraping... I thought it was my exhaust scraping but i looked under and its no where close to touching the ground. It also feels like the car is being held back when this sound occurs. The slip light didnt come on or anything either.

Has anyone has this problem or know what it is?

The sound is so hard to describe, it sounds like a electric motor is turning or something

you dont hear it coming from the speakers right? is it really loud?
If it was a electric motor (like motor for a RC car or HDD) motor could be rubbing along the side of the wall of motor housing but i would know. I worked with small motors like HDDs and Fans.
I would have someone do what you did and you stand outside and try to listen for it and find where its coming from.
But dont take my word for it. im not anywhere close to being an expert.

If im going up my driveway without turning the wheel, then i turn the wheel a little while at a steep angle still, the noise will come up.

So the motor is rubbing something you say? That sounds pretty bad..

I heard a sound similar to this the other day when i was driving. The road was completely ice, and no matter how lightly i accelerated i heard the sound. I think it has something to do with the slip and power steering. Its not a stereo sound, I know exactly what hes talking about. Never heard it before i was trying to drive on the damn ice.

i dont know. im just saying from what i have exp in my work field.. that dose not mean that its the same on the car.. i cant tell with out being next to the motor and im not an expert with car motors or actuators. My field is Electronics and Environmental. With my Pumps i have at my company for Environmental Water Sampling i get that problem with wear on my pumps cus our pumps run on a Electronic motor.

But like i said its different with Cars and im no expert.
