Sucked up water

Well i ran through a flooded zone last year on New years, and my car died, but the most interesting thing was it started up but like the person who posted this said it was bogging with the RPM.. i managed to throw it in reverse and drive home, after that i let the car run and the RPM's returned to normal.. took the intake complete off because i have and injen cold air but to my surprise everything was dry.. what caused this to happen is the exhaust for at the Y-pipe got flooded.. now the next day i went to start my car and nothing would start up.. well long story short.. if everyone takes the battery compartment apart you will see all the major fuses tucked away with the battery... well remove the battery and there is a whole that the manufacture has there for what ever reason but i could see straight through to my garage floor... dried up the battery and fuses never had a problem since.. i also intially checked the oil sump and changed the oil just in case as well but never had a problem since...

Sounds like you are stuck in limp mode. The service engine light is probably on, OBD2 scan to see what codes it's throwing.
Get a different hood, the engine bay of modern cars is basically just a bunch of exposed computer components, you MUST have the proper covers (hood, under cover) in place to protect the electronics.
