Nothing better to do with 30 min of my time today, so stopped by the dealer to check out the '05 coupes. Snapped a couple of photos while I had the pleasure to educate a potential buyer that I bumped into on the different features of the G35 [img]/w3timages/icons/cool.gif[/img]
The first thing that passed through my mind on seeing the Lakeshore Slate was why does this DG look different.. and the first thing I thought when I saw the Serengeti Sand was is that a Lexus on the G parking lot? Indeed it looked like one, and I find the color beautiful, nothing like the old DP. Finally, there were the forged 19", and like someone already noted, they do look better in person.
Oh, and one more thing, all the '05 Gs on the lot were pinstriped.. I sure hope it was just a coincidence [img]/w3timages/icons/shocked.gif[/img]

i don't know about the pin stripe myself. i'd ask for it to be removed.

well how did those pin strips get on? they're not from the factory are they? they just do not match the coupe at all.

i personally think the serengeti sand color is gorgeous. im STILL not feeling the rims though, dont like how they bulge outward. i will take a look for myself in person some time in the near future. but i do love all the new colors!

Ok Ok, I thought it was me, but I saw the "Lakeshore Slate" in Canoga Park, CA about 2 weeks ago at the mall. There was no pin stripe on it. It had the 17" wheels on it. I was telling my wife (she was driving my G Coupe at the time) that the G don't come in that color. She wanted to go around, but i said forget it.
