My clutch slips when it gets hot, especially when I'm stuck on the bridge uphill in traffic I took it to the stealership today and the quote came up at 800$ just for the labor!

I'm going to order the exedy stock clutch and act flywheel, has anyone had their clutch replaced by a mechanic they'd recommend in southern california? I live in the orange county area. I've got a great mechanic nearby but I'd rather take it to one that has experience with it since I read up about a lot of error codes coming up if it's not done correctly. I'm even toying with the idea of doing it myself (I'm fairly mechanically stable although it means I'd have to pick up a transmission jack.
