Congratz!!!...Yeah Im jealous until my 6MT hits..hehe. As you can see, I hate waiting but hey, I waited for almost a whole year now, why not a few more months. Nice pics as well. I'm getting the BLACK interior w/ NAV, so I guess I saw a lil preview of what my car will look like minus the AT. Man, I want the car so bad right now that I even thought of just getting an AT instead, haha...but I would lose out on the HP.
I just had a few questions, I hope that you could answer or anybody else as well.
1) Does the NAV screen goes up with you power up the car as well? What is that button on top of the screen for, if the 05 now have power up and down screen? As you stated, it does go down when you power off ur car, which is nice and neat. A flaw I saw on the 03-04 models. You would just expect something nice as power screen when your paying the price you are paying ya know?
2) Yeah, I had a question about that passenger entry system. When I went to see the 05 at my local dealership here a few weeks ago, I notice that they had a black button, which if you pressed would bring the seat forward, powered of course. But when I place the seat back, it doesn't seem to go back to the reg spot or does it? I say this because I didn't notice the seat moving back again. Was this the same with the 03-04? I thought with those older models, that you didn't need to press a button to get the seat to go forward, you just need to spring the seat ahead, then it would auto move the seats, was this true? The salesmen that I was with, noticed something different as well with the 05, but wasn't certain though.
3) Are the gauges and interior lights now RED? Or your pic is just throwing off the colors? If they are now red, this would be so tight compared to the reg AMBER.
4) Why did the dealership gave you some F*CKed up mats? I thought it was standard now to have reg carpet mats?
5) Is the NAV software improved or differ? If I remember right, didn't they display the ground being yellow but now it is white? Please let us know.

I'll do a more extensive review of the car soon. I'm still a euphoric state and probably won't notice any flaws until i use the car more hehe... as i haven't driven the 03 or 04 much at all, i can't compare the car to the old one with much accuracy. So, i'll just post my impressions and you can probably compare if you already have a G...

Hey, congrats to the new owner.
I'm picking up my 5AT Blk/blk next Saturday. About the manual-matic mode I used it on a test drive. Apparently, it has no rev-limiter, so if you are not careful you could rev it into the redline area and subsequently damage your engine. I thought that was kind of annoying.
Question: how is the radio? I didn't mess with it on my test drive. But a tech at a stereo store stated that the 05Gs had the best stock stereo system he has heard in a long time. Apparently those 6x9 bose speakers in the rear are purely woofers (no tweet). He also stated that at low-medium volumes it sounded good. I assume if you go 100 on the highway with the windows down and decide to crank it, it will sound hideous.

dg is definitely a sweet color. i would get a dg coupe as well but there's just too many around. it's the best selling color for the coupes. that's why i just stuck with bs again for my 05 purchase despite already having a 03 bs coupe.

let us know how the new stereo is with mp3 capability. for example, can you file the mp3's into folders (categ. by type of music, e.g.) and access them on the stereo?

I just posted a small review of the bose system... which includes the mp3 capability issues...
anyway, another thing i found with the 2005s is that when arming and disarming the alarm, Only the turn signal lights and rear lights flash... I think the 03-04 ones had the headlights flash also? not sure but now they don't... at least that extends the life of the headlights a little longer...
