Good call on the Xo2. All exhausts are just pipes under your car. Factors like pipe material, diameter, welds do come into play but in general they are all the same. Now u consider the design of the X or Y pipe and muffler itself. I believe its in these areas that real HP is gained. Its been proven also that most free flow exhausts perform about the same if the ecu is tuned properly. Just a few things to think about before u drop 1500 on a brand new HKS system.

 

Yeah definitely. I probably go with megan resonated TPs since they are a little cheaper than HFC and you'll probably gain more hp.

 

Well I got my magnaflow x pipe installed today and it completely quieted down my exhaust it almost sounds like stock but a little louder. Now, power wise I definitely felt the difference specially in the midrange. hopefully I'll get my MR resonated test pipes next week I think is too quiet now.

I had mine for 2 months and it cracked on the Y-pipe chamber and it was leaking, sold it today and got my Invidia Gemini....soo much better in sounding

 

what'd you do hit something? I find it hard to believe a y-pipe would spontaneously crack

 

well it didnt spontaneously cracked, i scrapped on my driveway but it shouldnt cracked when there were just slightly scrapping on it, I didnt scrape at all when I have invidia on so I guess some how invidia pipe sits higher than X02
