The G is here! See you BMW...

Ok, I am picking my G up this Tuesday. Black/Black all options but NAV from a Chicago dealer. 33k+tax/title/papers. Good deal, isn't it? Taking it to its new home in Cincinnati. ) Excited as a little kid.

BTW: Any members in Cincy area??

And one more thing -- clear bra, where can I get it installed? Local dealer or a special shop? (Sorry, this question is a repeat from a different board, but i am really concerned.)

Used to be a BMW fan and BMW forums active member, but quite honestly, after test driving the G -- it outcompetes the bimmer. I can tell this from my previous 3-year BMW owning experience.

grrrrrr can't wait!!!

Did you get the '04 or the '05 model year?

04, TB/W, Nav, Aero, 6MT, etc...

For 33K it must be an '04.

04, 05 are not that deeply discounted.

BTW: does anybody knows how many of 04 were produced? I think it's about 16k of 05 models, curious how many of 04s..?

17 k coupes sold. Still a somewat limited prooduction. Meaning it will keep it cost up and depreciate slow. Feels good.

So, what do u think 33k is a good deal for it?

Re: The G is here! See you BMW...

Doesn't sounds too bad. I bought my DG coupe with the same package (everything but nav), and the sticker was 37.2. Got mine for $35K drive out in late August.

Re: The G is here! See you BMW...

Congratulations! I just bought my 2004 DG Coupe with Premium Package for $35k out the door. Thats great there are limited numbers. Too bad Im in Orlando...

I was on KBB.com trying to see the resale value....well I put in a 2003 with 20k miles and trade in was something like 31-32k! I was shocked because I did the same thing with an Audi A4 and it was like 20-25k which was like a huge drop!

Spill, our cars are twins!

I finally washed my car after being dirty for 2 months! I fell in love again. When the car is dirty, the clear bra picks up a layer of dirt that you can see much more than on the rest of the car. Plus, when the rain gets to it, there are lots of streaks from the trailing edge of the clear bra onto the hood. That will motivate me to wash it more often.
