Is the G35 coupe a rattle trap? I thought Nissan/Infiniti are among the highest quality vehicles out there and I was very surprised to see all the posts. Have the problems been addressed now that it's the third year of production? I was planing to get a 6MT but now I dunno.

if the rattles are the only thing stopping you, then GET IT!

it only happens on select cars...

Re: Quality

I dont think so, and I made a thread below out of my frustrations, but let me explain.

While the car has a number of issues, I wouldnt rate any of them as major or deal breakers. In a majority of cases, a trip to the dealer will have your problem fixed.. and in most cases theyll give you a loaner (probably another g35?) while you wait. Most of the issues are minor. In addition, some cars will have fewer issues than others. It'll take a few months to find out if Infiniti has solved any of the issues in the 05s though.

If it were me I'd still buy this car again without hesitating.
