Good bye to my G coupe

In a straight line, G probably will beat many cars. But I'm taking about drag race, it involves brake , acelerate , brake , acelerate then brake acelerate. Many 200HP-up cars with less weight will jump two or three cars away first then your G start catching up. Please don't tell me it's not, because I had a g35 coupe 6MT too. In most drag race case, your G can't reaceletrate fast enough again to keep up with some less-weight cars!

I believe that you are confused as to what a drag race entails.
Usually it's burnout, brake, accelerate, brake hard.

Total weight means ****. The G35 has a respectable power to weight ratio- 160 hp/ton with the de and 171hp/ton with the hr, but the 2011 328i has 135hp/ton. It was you bud, not the car.
Your new EVO has 175hp/ton, makes sense its faster. How ever, the 335i has 166hp/ton.
Also, if you care too look at the weight distribution of the cars i've listed, the G35 has 52/48, the 335i/328i is 51/49 and the EVO is 60/40.
Around a track and in a straight line the G35 should kill a 328i and lag a few cars behind the 335i. In a straight line the EVO would kill the G35 because of AWD, but have gobs of understeer in the turns.
I understand you wanted more power but please don't come on here stating a nose heavy evo would beat even balanced RWD sports cars on a track.

The evo x has almost no understeer at all with the yaw control. The evo is probably one of the easiest and moving forgiving cars to drive at the limits.
I agree with your assumption on the 328 though. A stock g35 would destroy a 328 without any problems.
