Question Another Clutch and Flywheel Question

Hey guys I have been searching around and found mostly nothing that actually says this is good for this that is good for that... NOTHING that actually makes sense. I did some research and found out that the Nismo Flywheel is one of the best out there for under $500 (correct me if I'm wrong). And a clutch kit you guys have to help please I really need a clutch soon I want to know what is best I will be drag racing and maybe some track days. I do launch the car I would say a few times a month. JWT, Clutch master, ACT... these are all around 400 I really don't want to spend more then $1000 for both. My car is a DD. So I would like it to be at least close to stock drive-ability if possible. Please help me out I want to know what I can do. My mods are going to be a few minor engine stuff no FI. So I'm guessing any aftermarket clutch would handle those kind of numbers. Mrev, intake, exhaust, tune, just few things nothing major.

do you REALLY want to use the same car for daily driving as you would for drag racing? Setups for Street driving compared to Daily Driving are totally completely different setups.

anyway if you are going to be using your daily driver for drag racing, i would get a heavy duty clutch and flywheel that will stand up to the abuse of dragging such as maybe an ACT clutch/flywheel.

Keep in mind if you are going to be dragging/racing your daily driver, you will be going through clutches often. Buy if i were you i would first make up your mind on what exactly you will use the car for as you currently sound conflicted. You state you want to know which clutch would be best for drag/track but later you mention close to stock drivability. Which one is it? you can't have both.

The drag racing I would say I do like 5-6 times a year not like a weekly thing. So I would say mostly DD

the lightweight flywheels make a really loud rattling when ur starting off so from liek 1000 - 1800 rpm. super embarassing in parking lots lol. i dont know if the nismo one does that or not. thye 6-pucks get good grab but they wear out alot quicker and they can chatter more and are sticky starting off ppl tend to stall alot at first. if i were you i would get a heavy duty pressure plate itll be a stiffer pedal but thats life. get a full disk for a friction disk it will last longer but with just N/A mods it should take the power no problem.

The heavier the better but then what's the point in buying a light weight flywheel. I think your best bet to not or atleast do it less would be the nismo
