2003 coupe keep stock headlights or switch to newer style ones
Hello, i have a 2003 inifniti g35 coupe its black , i will be blacking out the grill tinting the car and maybe going with black or gold rims..
My head lights on my car are discoloured had hazy and i have tried many "headlight repair kits" to try and get it gone for good,
it takes some of it off but they still don't look good and they have a greenish tinge to them..also when you have the hid on the
amber marker and the white clearance light it looks pretty bad because its all different colors, one has a little chip on the out side so
its time to change them
That being said, i was thinking of maybe getting a set of newer style projector headlights maybe from a 2006 and installing them
if i can find them cheep or used in good condition. i think i was reading a wile back that they are not a direct replacement and you
need to do a little bit of rewiring.
or just maybe finding another set of 2003 or 2004 lights in good condition and hope they don't discolor
if anyone has any input on this on what they decided to do or if you went with the newer style lights what did you need to install them.
And did they look good on a black coupe

Go for the updated projector headlights. The install is pretty simple, its very straightforward. It should take a beginner no more than 4.5 hrs. for both lights. The headlights come with the bulbs, all you need is the ballast which you can reuse from your current headlights. Used sets run for about $400 and news sets $550.

OEM projectors with clear lenses and the color mod makes them perfect. And if you want, leds and painted housings...
