I was wondering if i can purchase a warranty like out of no where. I just recently bought my car and wanted to see if I can go to an infiniti dealership and buy some type of warranty? Or is that only available at the time you purchase your car?

yea if your vehicle still has warranty on it you can only obtain an extended warranty only through the dealership.. Now i must warn you here because they base it on the actual mileage on the vehicle so lets say u hit 60K which void the warranty at this point there going to quote you some odd $2300 approx.. now if you dont have the money at the moment or feel that maybe at 80K is when you feel like doing it that price will skyrocket and i think they wont even give you a warranty after 100K i may be wrong about this but thats my 2 cents on that been down your road

 

yeah my warenty expired and i forgot about it then got extended they just did a quick exam of the car and then sold me the warenty idk how much it was cause the bundled it up with the warenty for my g and my dad's fx (the warenty was a "present" from my parents)

If you are still under factory warranty you can purchase an extended warranty. If you are not under factory warranty you can still get a warranty, but it likely won't be from Infiniti. They'll likely require an inspection if the factory warranty has expired, and could be expensive depending on how much you want covered, and for how long. I think you can get the extended factory warranty online. Maybe your 'friendly' dealership can get it cheaper.
