okay on to business first hello every one im new and look forward to learning and getting help from all you wise g35 people.

i am looking into getting a g35 coupe and would like upgrade it and make it faster. i am a college student and consider my self to be mechanic savy. i was wondering if there is a certain year to get, because i have read that certain years are better for getting more power out of them. Then i was also wondering what things can i do myself to get more horsepower from the car.
