Seatbelt and airbag. It means put your seatbelt on and your airbag may not be working properly. Might wanna get it checked out

Thats what I thought, I know the seatbelt light lol, I was on my driveway (home and no need for the seat belt at that point).

So thats seatbelt huh? I knew it! The one inside the seat.... So what does this mean? Its an 04' but could this be considered like covered under warrenty or something???

Oh, and thanks for the quick response!

take it too infiniti dealer to get a part replaced for the airbag, it will be covered if it hasn't been done already.

Looks like you're driving since the speedometer says 60+
The light that has the circle on the profile is the airbag light. If it's an 04 then you are out of warranty. Won't be covered BUT I did hear there was a recall on our airbags. I never got a notice but you may wanna check if you fall into that recall time and get it fixed asap

Man your driveway must be a drag strip, must be fun going 70

Anyhow

There is a Recall going on with the passenger seat airbag sensor, go to http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/cars/pr...illDown&step=2

Look up your car see if its listed. I dont remember the date ranges.

03-04 G35's have had a recall on this. Take it to the dealer, it should be fixed for free.

I just confirmed with the post card they sent me which is sitting on my desk right next to me.

Damnit! whoops I forgot I was driving. Caught me on my lie. lol

Anyways, thanks for the info! Will call infiniti.

Also just checked that link, it doesnt have anything for 2004 infinitis and pass. airbag in the seat.

If I go to infiniti will they fix this since its a hazard basically? They SHOULD cover it right free of charge?

Edit: Thanks revo!

I'll keep everyone in the loop about what Infiniti says. But thanks for the quick responses!

Pwned.

Anyways OP, Infiniti issued a recall for side airbags for all model year G35s in October of last year. If you have not been to the dealership to get the recall done, then it is possible that its the defective part that is causing the light and thus will be fixed free of charge. If it is not the side airbags that were recalled causing the light to blink, then you'd have to pay out-of-pocket, which sounds like an expensive fix.

It's not just 03-04 G35's, I got my 05 fixed under the recall for free during the summer.

Do the pedal reset for the airbag light before you go to the dealer. Chances are it will fix the light and get rid of it. Search for the method, its been posted many times.

Hmmm... since its giving me this error shouldnt it be better to just fix it anyway? God forbid I have a passenger and I get in an accident, and this airbag on that side is defective!

But tried looking for it, couldnt find a direct thread on the reset method, happen to have a link? Curious nonetheless.

Edit: is this it? https://g35driver.com/forums/engine-...resetting.html

Click my signature and it will give you a bunch of information. The ECU reset will be in there as well.

The car will most likely spend the night so probably a day
