As you know I just got my g35 which is an 03...it has 18" wheels stock....I noticed the front tires are pretty much bald on one side (inside ) then I noticed the tires size...previous owner had 235/40/18. on the front (rear are correct)...I saw they were supposed to be 225/45/18....is that one big reason why the wear is so bad on the inside?

225/45/18 and 245/45/18.. It has more to do with your alignment.. It's common for inner tire wear on the G..

 

so the 235/40/18 being up front is helping them get bad quicker wouldnt it? also an alignment will help?

 

Get new front tires that are 225/45/18 for the fronts, cause those bald spots suck, and get an alignment from a trusted mechanic or dealer to stock specs.
