valve cover, spark plug well gaskets....on eBay?

anyone with experience please take a look and see what you think. I am wary of this, but if it would work it would be nice not to spend $400 on new valve covers...

Actually those are legit. They are to my knowledge the only company that makes the actual rubber gaskets. I believe hes a forum member too... So you wont need a new valve cover really. But either way labor is a PITA.

so, since I have the valve covers off already, these would go over the plug gaskets? the stock ones won't come out right?

also, if it this easy to replace them, why don't more people offer this option?

Thanks SD. I just bought them so I'll be posting reviews and possibly a DIY next weekend after they get here.

People have tried to make gaskets and valve covers themselves. They have tried maxima and alternative nissan covers, but none of them were able to get a seal and leaked all over. Trying to get aftermarket gaskets fit a oem part that wasnt meant to be is making it hard to replicate.

If these do works they would sell like hot cakes.

I am just skeptical that its an ebay part. I would seriously need to hear from someone on here who uses this and it doesnt leak before i would even think about ripping off mine and putting these in.

upstate sc.

i got my vc's that are painted sitting aside.....i will measure the OD of the seal and the OD of the tube to get a good idea of maybe finding a seal (from another application or car) that would work. there has to be something that will work. ill try honda/acura seals since acura is upstairs

The stock spark plug oring gasket are built in. They do not come off. You have to either drill them off I believe.

The valve cover gasket can be removed.

Not sure how these are installed. I'm guessing they go over the stock gaskets.

BUT, previously the seller of these gaskets said you had to DRILL the old gasket off.

Not sure if this a new REVISED gasket that just go over the stock ones w/o drilling the old one off.
