Tint for taillights

I am looking at tinting my taillights and was curious what film others have used. I want to do film instead of spray so I can remove it in case I get a ticket or the person I sell it to doesn't like the tint. I used Lamin-x for my Cadillac SRX and thought the product was good quality and the tint was thick, but they want $70 for the G35. Has anyone used another company and had good luck?

Yeah msg blue bat mobile. He stocks every year tails and headlight film for the G. Comes in different colors and styles. Excellent fitment and quality.

Edit: Heres another thread just posted with all the info you need and his email.

Hopefully I'm not thread jacking, but on an 06 IP coupe, what's the most I can tint my tail lights without it being REALLY obvious, but subtle enough to know it's there to have the effect?

And if you guys don't mind... maybe a picture to show it? I've seen a few but don't know much about this.

Try the Lamin-x, they show photos with different tint available.

If you want a different look here's what I'm doing... these are off an 04, and I have an 05, but it gives you the idea. FYI I have an OB G just like this one...

Bat's 3/10 tint huh.... these are ones that you have to apply yourself?

No the jdm's are stock. Cars just in the garage so no light lol. Im thinking about hobby tint spray to darken them up since they have so many curves.

@andrew- Its really not that hard. You dip them in water and then spray water on the tail. Then you just line it up and squegee out the water. You can also use a hairdryer to make the vinyl stretch around the curves and lay flat. Plus bats are almost a perfect fit so not much to much lining up is needed. I did my first set in around 1.5 hrs. Next set took 30 mins.

Its colormatched vinyl thats the same as an eyelid for the car. Instead of the raised up look it allows it to be flat and you dont need 3m tape to keep it on.
