Stance GR+ Coilovers VS. Bc Racing Coilovers
What's up shane11. Think I may get BCs. They offer an "extreme drop kit" which utilizes a shorter spring in the rear that drops it lower. I wanted Stance because they went lower but I may get these for the cheaper price.

I recently replaced my BCs with Stance GR+ and am very happy with them. I had the BC BR series before their extreme drop version was talked about and didn't like the (lack of) stiffness or height of the rears. Very pleased with the true rear on the Stance so far, will never be able to fully max it out and imo a more comfortable ride.
Don't know how the newer BCs compare but having had products from both companies I'd have no qualms ordering anything from Stance. The BCs weren't bad at all, just didn't do it for me, but again this was with the older system.

In the long run $200 isn't very significant. And this coming from someone who'd already spent $900ish on the BCs and still bought a new set of Stances.
Yeah, I'd recommend them (especially if you only want to buy set).
The BCs when everything was as low and stiff as I could them bounced more than I would have liked. I wouldn't have called the ride stiff at all, it was just a bit awkward. The Stances set on full stiff feel very comfortable. They're not upset by road imperfections, they aren't jarring, they just do their job. The BCs never felt that stable when I got really low on them.
Again though this was on the standard BR Series, before the extreme drop so I don't know if that's been addressed with the new system, but since I've only seen folks mention a shorter spring I would guess they're using the same strut which may not help.
Also to consider is the progressive vs linear spring. A linear spring rate is probably why the Stances feel so good, but I'm no engineer, I'm just gonna be happy with them and stop guessing now.

who really would want to drop their car as low as it can go? so impracticle.. if you only DD your car and occasionally track (i mean once or twice a year) why wouldn't you save the couple hundred and go for BC BR coils when they are very well repped same as the stance coils?
and please, do yourselves a favour and buy them off Charles at B2Autodesigns really top bloke i've done heaps of business with him he has never let me down and the pricing is great.

Seano350GT, people buy coils for different reason. Some people CAN'T drop their car as low as it can go because their coils will literally lay frame. But, those people may not be far off the mark. And while that's impractical to YOU, it may not be to other people. I drive my G roughly 1000miles a year. Sooooooooo, an impractical slam isn't impractical to me cuz I love the way it looks. And an extra $200 bux over however long you have the car or that suspension will not be noticed. It's $200 bux. In the grand scheme of things, it's not a lot of money. Especially given our cars are not the cheapest thing to repair.
I daily drive my car and it's pretty damn low with room to go at least 1.5 in the front and much lower in the rear if I adjusted the spring perch. I personally love the look and positive attention from others. As driftsucky said, everyone has their reasons. Here we are with road race inspired suspension on our daily drivers that people use for drag, etc. I got my Fortune Autos because 1) they're rebuildable and 2) they can go LOWWW. To each their own.
