Which of these 3 mods should I get?

I have about 1.5k to spend. I really want some BC coilovers but I do not think it would be worth it b/c my driveway is a mtn.(like 45degrees goin up) and the house im about to move into for college has a steep drop-off as well. Im a noob when it comes to driving at angles w/o scratching.Other mods I wanted were an HKS exhaust w/ hfcs and body kit w/ sideskirts (which would be dumb w/o a drop). I already have wheels. Anything else? Could I still go with the coils despite my driveways?

No i am not. My car is nearly stock. Im currently a freshman at the University of Oklahoma living at the dorms. Im moving into a house with a few of my friends. The roads here are worse. Ive never seen a slammed car driving around here.

Go with z springs if your worried about scraping. You can still rock a kit that isnt as aggressive without a drop or even aggressive so it makes the drop.

Kits that look lower- Greddy

Kits that can be pulled off stock-nismo

Really wanted the inven impul chargespeed combo but its way too aggressive w/o a drop. I can work with nismo w/ low drop springs.

You'd be surprised what you can pull off with some ingenuity when it comes to a slammed car and hills. You can still rock coils, but if you're too worried, depending on the coils, you can have them at a tall setting or so.

Personally, what I would do in order is the exhaust (power and sound = fun), suspension (comes second cause depending on your location, it's not often you can push your suspension to the limits), and then the aesthetics.

The reason why Atlanta was brought up was because you have your location set to Atl, GA hah

My G is lowered on 350Z s-tech. The bodykit I have makes it even lower. I don't have a problem. Its all about how you drive. I never had a lowered car before, but I wouldn't take it back. It a awesome ride and good looking. I'm sure something will take out my front bumper on the highway or something but a new one will replace it. I say do BC, but only if your tracking it more then a few times a year. You need the cambers for F and R and when your done with the hole set up you will be around 2,000. Thats only if you don't want to go through the tires. Springs, F and R camber arms will put you around 1,100. Still track worthly for a few times a year, and a nice ride.

Yeah I live in ATL, but go to school in Oklahoma. I drive in Atl during the summer. My driveway is extremely steep, maybe even steeper than 45 degrees. So basically I would have to come in almost perpendicular to my driveway to pull it off?

I would say go with coilovers. The car just handles so much better with them. If you keep your eyes out you can get a good deal. I bought a set of tein monoflex a year ago in Atl for $900 and they only had 1000 miles on them.

It should. I didnt lower mine much and get around pretty well. There are some driveways that i have to come at an angle to get in for example the wendys here is about 45degrees and i can get in without scraping. The nice thing about coilovers is you can pick the ride height so if you feel like you are scraping too much then you can just raise the car.

Get the coils and learn to take the angles. Start off with a small drop and get used to driving it, then keep going lower every month or so until you're used to being really low. If you go with a big drop from the beginning, you'll be sure to scrape everywhere, but that's where the beauty of coilovers comes in.

You can invest in some wood planks and make a makeshift ramp out of them. I've seen a few people do that.

But it will be a pain in the *** though, that's for sure, unless you're comfortable with your neighbors not messing with your stuff and leaving the wood outside.

I've seen some people in slammed cars barley make it up some steep driveways, but they make it up regardless. Ever tried backing up at an angle?
