You guys are all off the mark here. The throttle lag happens because Nissan in all of it's wisdom and glory programmed the throttle plate to only open 75% at full throttle and we are a drive-by-wire system. To get rid if the issue we basically have 2 options to get rid of the lag. Buy a Sprintbooster or have your car tuned with a program like Osiris that will allow the TP to open 100%.

After swapping out my rear end to a 3.5 and getting Osiris tuned, I can pound the gas at 30 MPH and break my back end free. And I drive a 5AT.

Get a sprintbooster. Do the maintenance first on the throttle body. I just put one in and there is a lot of difference. Instant throttle response I love it.

I have the same problem and I pulled the code P1283. When I turn the car on from a cold start the car will run like a bat out of hell. But once it warms up the throttle sucks again! =/ Let me know if you get yours fixed and how! Or vice versa.
