Thumbs down Throttle Response Sucks

Over the this week my car has recently had horrible throttle response

I thought it was the clutch slipping or something but the clutch is fine..

I just took it to my local repair shop to get it Diagnosed and got (Zero codes )

What a was of time and a huge headache. They told me that I should take the car to the Stealership to get reflashed .....

I'm not sure what the problem could be ,

I feel like I'm driving a turbo car with lag , but mines N/A 6MT should be no lag...

If anyone has had this problem or yet solved this problem please let me know

Maybe its something simple who knows

Have you tried resetting the ECU?

If you reset your ECU you will have to also reset your throttle body position and idle speed.

It wouldn't be a bad idea for general maintenance to pull out your MAF and clean it, clean your throttle body, then reset your ECU and do the accompanying procedures.

Just leave the ECU off until you finish cleaning everything.

1. Clean your mass air with ONLY maf cleaner (local auto parts store).
2. If you clean your TB, you will probably need to do an idle reset.
3. Disconnect your negative battery cable and touch it or jump it to the positive side with the wrench you used to disconect it for ten seconds.
OR... BRING YOUR CAR TO US!!!

Whoa whoa whoa...bad idea with shorting the battery cable.

Just leave your battery disconnected for 30 minutes or so...does the job just the same WITHOUT risk of destroying your car's electronics...

Maybe on a BMW M5 but not on a Nissan. The only way to short out a Nissan system is to connect the battery backwards or hook a jump box or jump cables up in reverse.
Maybe I'm wrong (and every other Nissan tech I know) and have just been lucky the last 15 years.

ok so before my whole throttle body cleaning my enigne was idleing
around 250 - almost stalling everytime

After throttle body cleaning enigne idles at 900 RPM

I do the Throttlebody Relearn and finally got the timing right and now I idle at 650 which is good

But now my Throttle Response still sucks and my S.E.S light is on

I did the ecu reset and now I'm thinking finally its throwing a code due to the bad throttle response

The light did go away after the "reset" but it came on again

I think it could be bad MAF , TB sensor harnes thing is f'd , or accelerator pedal is bad as i saw someone got a code for on anyother thread
