Re: To easy to get a Coupe

Yes, the internet is a wonderful thing. In Va. Beach we only have 1 dealership. They could not find me what I wanted with thier search, said the wasn't one on the east coast. So, I used the Infiniti web site to locate exactly what I wanted. I found one in NC (that IS east coast, right?) and had it delivered. Total time REALLY looking 1.5 days!
This was Feb 22.

wreck:
don't even get me started on Cerritos Infiniti. When my parents went to TD the new Q45, they scoffed. I used to service my old Q45 there. After numerous numnut mistakes and delayed, I stopped going.

if you don't mind me asking, what did Infiniti Cerritos let your car go at? TIA.

Drove into the dealership at 5pm in my AMG C32. Drove out by 8pm with a new Coupe. No appointment, no waiting list, no bs. It is very nice buy foreign cars in a big three territory.

Re: To easy to get a Coupe

Did you trade in your C32 for the G35c? I was thinking of trading my E55, but they said it would have been an even trade. I would have felt really wrong to trade an E55 for a G. So I gave my E55 to my mom. At least it is in the family that way.

Ouch!! 4k markup.. Thank god they are not like that anymore. If it help, the person I delt with was Gerald. I think he is the Internet Fleet Manager. He is cool, no BS, and follows up with all emails. He also called ASAP once the truck pulled in with 2 new coupes.

Re: To easy to get a Coupe

It's probably a lot easier in the bigger areas.

I live on the east coast with one dealer in my city, the next over 100 miles away. I special ordered my coupe, only because I didn't want to wait for one to arrive that just happened to have what I wanted. I have had several dealerships call me telling me they have cars available, but not one in the color or with the options that I wanted.

Sure, it's relatively easy to get a coupe. The hard part is getting the one you want. Or just getting lucky when the one you want is the one that is delivered in the normal allocation.

Re: To easy to get a Coupe

Hi, in the mid-west (KC) the dealer is very helpful. When I ordered mine they said it whould be 3 months, but the salesman asked the manager to change a spot on the order list that he had sent just the day before. In less than 15 minutes they changed thier order and saved me a month. From time to time they'll have one or two to sell off the lot.
