Should I keep this a secret?

I'm thinking of selling my 2003 6mt which has 80k on it but really it has less because at 70k I changed the engine since it went with an 05 engine with 14k on it. Also tranny is new for a 350z and clutch and flywheel are new or were at 70k.

Now reason I don't want to sell or find it hard too is because to me telling someone this should be a plus as the car drives like it was brand new. Should I just sell it as is or tell the truth. Car does not have a salvage title as I had it all done out of pocket.

I want about 12-13k for it which i think is pretty good as I have replaced almost everything in the car, window motors, wheel all four wheel hub assembly, ceramic brakes, cross drilled rotors, radio, headlights

Depends... You trading the car in? Or private party? Did you do the swap yourself? Does it now have the rev up engine now? Even with a new engine and trans you will be hard pressed to get more money for it.

I would tell the truth. Was it replaced because of an accident? If the car runs like it should then it shouldn't matter. If you don't tell potential buyers that's just bad karma.

Truth would be much more appreciated if I was a buyer. Even if there was no harm/no foul, it could come back to bite you in the butt.

I'm always open and up front when I sell stuff, even if it costs me a little in the end. It's just the right thing to do.
