Anyone close to 20171 who has professional experience with installing these?
Send me a PM with price and preferably post pictures of your install on this thread.

I've never worked with vinyl before so don't wanna mess em up. I know there might be a lot of people in Nova but just wanna make sure I get them done by someone who has experience with these specific overlays. If you have any in mind who would do these for a reasonable charge, let me know.

G30-FI... Any advice you have for a first time installer? I've debated going to a vinyl shop for a "professional" install myself, but I feel a bit silly considering how small these things are and the fact that the tails are pretty flat. ('05 Tails) I've read through the basic instructions (clean car, soapy water, use blow dryer for edges, etc) but was curious if there are any particular tips or tricks which you've found make installing these easier. If it turns out it's a fairly difficult project I'll have to look for an installer as well, however I'd prefer to do it myself.

Definitely go to G 30-FI in Richmond. Well worth the drive! I live in Northern VA (in Centreville) and drove down to Richmond for Tony (G 30-FI) to do the install and am extremely happy about making that trip. I was going to have a shop local to me do the install but they don't have the experience Tony has and they were charging more. Tony is a great guy and does fantastic work. He treats your car likes it's his own. I definitely recommend making the trip.

Also, a buddy of mine got his installed locally by a shop in Manassas and they don't look as great as mine. You can tell the shop did the install very quickly because the overlays don't line up perfectly. They also charged more.

And what's better then making a nice trip down to Richmond for a fellow G35 driver to do great install? And you can check out Tony's sexy G!

Bumping this thread one more time in the hopes that someone with overlay installation experience can provide some pointers or whether I should just seek out a professional.

If you've never worked with vinyl before, I would suggest getting it done from a professional installer, better from a certified bluebat installer.
