Whats up g35 guys, i have a quick question. im looking to buy a 2004 g35 coupe with the premium package. i have found one thats black on black that i really like except one aspect is bothering me. the third brake light (not the spoiler one) appears to be beige even though the interior is black. am i just mistaken to believe that its supposed to be black? thanks for the help.

 

To the best of my knowledge it should be black.
I have an 06' with black interior and the only part that is beige is the upper liner.
Maybe someone can chime in that has an 04'.

 

yes i think the '05+ models all came with that part being black. this is a one owner car with no history of accidents or salvage.

 

Not sure but you could always tint it..

 

i think its black, i took a closer look at a few coupes on cars.com and it seems to be just the reflection. where in charlotte are you at? i just moved to nc a month ago from ny.. wow is my only thoughts so far

 

Looks like whoever tinted the car didn't tint over the brake light. You can always redo the tint to cover it up.

My friend has black on black 08' but the upper liner is not black.

 

It looks black to me. I think it looks beige since they didn't tint that part of the window and it probably faded a little. Have you seen it in person?
Personally I'd remove the 3rd brake light and retint the back window.

Looks like a clear casing with red LED's in it? Camry's have that and I think it looks odd.

You can probably get a scrap tint film and fill it in. Little care and time, once you put it all back together, won't even notice.

 

Well theres At least one benefit of getting a G with a factory spoiler... My '05 doesn't even have that light at all.
