Driver window works off and on? wtf?

Well, about a month ago my window wouldn't go down anymore. Initially I just assumed the motor went bad because I know it is a common problem with the G. After a couple days, the window started working again. This is confused me, because I figured that if the motor was bad, it wouldn't just start working again for no reason.

Long story short, it has stopped and re-started working several more times since then. Currently, it is not working again and is stuck down (oh crap!).

Does this sound like a motor problem? Switch maybe? I dunnno.... Any suggestions on diagnosing?

One thing to also note: when it was stuck in the up position, the normal functionality of the window slightly going down and back up when the door was opened and closed also stopped working.

Thanks.

yea its the motor... keep it up til u can swap it out. don't get caught with it down on a rainy day.

mine would work on and off til it finally went. do the doorslam if you're stuck with it down, but its gonna eventually completely die.
