Hey guys, I've read through about 30 related topics, but non really answered what I'm looking for.. Sorry if this is in the wrong section, but I need serious help.

My '05 coupe was having many similar problems as other people on here and my350z. CEL, VCD, and Slip lights coming on, starting and shutting off (while driving).

I went ahead and replaced the MAF sensor, then CRANKSHAFT sensor, and just today the passenger side CAM sensor.

With new MAF sensor, it wouldn't start on first try, but always on 2nd. Would run, but then die shortly after.

With new Crankshaft sensor, same 2nd start thing, but would stay running, although car felt heavy and struggled where it usually didn't.

10 minutes ago replaced the CAM sensor located on the passenger side and now car will turnover, stay on for a second, then die.

I'm getting ready to call a tow truck and get her sent over to Infiniti, so they can bend me over

ANY help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Check and make sure your intake filter is clean.
Mine did the same thing until I cleaned my K&N filter and MAF sensor, Hasn't done it since..Just a thought..

 

Just installed brand new AEM coi a few days ago..but checking over it all again. Thanks for the suggestion!

 

What code is it setting and is the cel on

 

Had the P0355 code, replaced the CAM & CRANK sensors, threw same code after clearing them. And YES, cel is on. Along with VCD & Slip light again

 

If its still throwing a CEL and CAS code after replacement, have you checked the wiring harness for the sensor?
The fact that it dies just after starting could also relate to a fuel system fault.
