Sidemarker - bulb - COPPER WIRE question

Hey guys I live in Canada and I was itching to mod my side markers but It turns out When I took it out from my bumper, the Copper wires from the car that attach to the little "light grey" peice which attaches to the bulb snap right off because of the cold temperature....

Whats the estimate price to get it fixed?
Am I able to fix it myself or is there a replacement peice that I can purchase.

The dealership is the last thing on my mind right now... they said it could cost between $30 - $500 .... I set up an appointment to get it checked....

Pictures would be helpful here. I don't know why you couldn't reattach the wire yourself, but I'm not exactly sure where it's broken.
