xlacrosse:
I agree with you on the hood. I like the stock better, and generally prefer to do everything I can to keep the car as stock looking as possible. The advantages are purely functional. The air flow is significant off the block, and it appears to run a couple of degrees cooler based on the gauge.
The front snout scoop at the pressure area helps pull the cold air in, and the gills evacuate it out towards the A pillars (not on the wind screen.) When you drive with the window down and your left arm on the window sill, you definitely feel the toasty blast of air!

HAHA that's sick, at least its fully functionable so it gets a thumbs up from me, but i do agree, im not really liking the look but you have a SICK car and the hood doesnt look too bad painted! Ahh so that's how you get a G35 to look like a race carrr Those Sparco's are ROOOOL: man, any videos?? Please get some up =)

Only just got the cage and seats in, but here are two articles with vids, and links to others, with this particular car. If you want to see some vettes being passed, check the Sears Point article and vid which is linked in the Willow Springs article (the first one), and the second video at Cal Speedway you can see the coupe at 150mph down the front straight.

Beautiful Eagle... Question: Why didn't you pull out the rear seats? Would somewhat help with weight as the seats can not be used anyway...

Re: Roll cage, Koyo radiator, Sparco Seats Mods

Ah. Good question. But in fact, they can be used. The roll bar support to the rear, the "kick back" bar, tucks into the rear quarter panel so that the rear seat can fold all the way down. So that feature is maintained. In addition, the harness bar is secured with two quick release detent pins, and the three point seat belt is left in. Thus, if you are going to take passengers, you can quickly pop out the harness bar and put it in the trunk, tuck the harness straps under the seat....and off you go.

AJ:
You want a ride, you got a ride, my good man. Cal Speedway is going to be so great. Really looking forward to it.

Some day I might get off my bottom and put the kind of shine on the baby that you, Ted, Josh, and Ed Lin......oh heck EVERYBODY seems to put on their cars! Instead I seem to be spending all my time in and under it.

Hey, pm me your email address. I have a nice picture of you with your car from last weekend.
