g35 coupe in snow? Please help!!

Hey all im a new member, just signed up...

I am considering getting the 05 subaru legacy turbo but i dont like the looks of it as much as i do the G35 coupe.... i live in Mass and AWD or at least FWD is needed in the winter... so i am wondering how bad is it in the snow and rain?

Re: g35 coupe in snow? Please help!!

This will be my first winter with my G35 in the snowy northeast - last year I was living in sunny southern CA, so I never experienced this car in snow before.

From what I have learned, the car is completely useless in the snow, and actually dangerous with the Pilot Sports. However, with snow tires, the car is much better in the snow. Not good, but very driveable at least. So, I ordered a set of Blizzak LM22's, which will be mounted in 2 weeks for the winter season.

The G35 in the rain is no problem. The Pilot Sports are actually pretty good in the rain. Just don't try to set any lap records in it in the rain, and you'll be fine.

The stock Pilots are good in summer, but useless in winter.

My Coupe with 225 snows all 'round is great. No worries.
