I while back, i noticed a whine/fart coming out of my engine whenever i turned it on or off.
After turning it on, i'd hear a small whine and it would go away.
After turning it off, i'll hear the same whine, and then it will go away. Sometimes short, sometimes a lil longer.
I came online and did a search and found that i wasn't the only one.
Now... when the car is running the whining sound is constant. When i turn off the engine, it lasts a short while and stops.
I called the Service people and they said to bring it in.
All i've done to the engine bay of my car is Z-tube, k&n drop in, UR crank pulley, and NISMO Ground wires.
Anyone else have this problem or know what's going on?

I've checked the car again...
It's coming from the bottom/rear of the engine.
I have some ideas of what it could be, but i'm no techie.

I'm still wondering what it could be.
I just moved the car to wash and CG it before another storm hits us here in SoCal.
I didn't hear the whine this time, only because i didn't have the car on enough to warm it up.
What would a leak in exhaust sound like? Would it whine?

I can tell you that the exhaust does make noise for like less than a second or so after you turn the engine off. That is just the sound that it makes.
If nobody else has an answer, here's the best advice: If the car drives fine and you got no lights going on, just keep driving it and try to ignore it! It's probably something normal with the car and if it IS a problem and it causes your Coupe to be owned in the long run, you are protected by your warranty!

Its the UR crank pulley if it sounds like a hiss or slipping of the belt when you turn it on/off or rev it lightly, its a sick sound to me lol!!
