Ouch. I've had that happened many times, but not that much damage.

Did you get his info though? or was it a hit and run

he left his info, and i called him. he wants to pay with cash… i said it is going to be well into 4 figures, so i will get a quote first then, you can decide how we will go about taking care of the issue. it needs a front bumper, driver side fender, projector lense, side marker, fender liner, and the rim is pretty scuffed up.

My car was $4k in damage. Fender, headlight (mounting tabs were broken), bumper & Inner Bumper supports, chin spoiler. No rim damage or fender liner on mine.

ouch! Good thing he left his info. We have one honest guy out there taking responsiblity for his mistake. Maybe you can help him out and see if it would be cheaper if you paid cash for the repairs. Too bad you don't live in Los Angles so you can go to R&J's auto repair.

If your looking to help the kid out and save him some money you could... My estimate was $4k, but I was not wanting to rack my brother with that. Fixed all said and done for about $1,500.

This sucks. I hope it turns out good for everyone. One good thing will come from this though... you will have the opportunity to replace your ambers with clear corners.

Yea, he's honest until he finds out how much it's going to be. I bet he doesn't have insurance, which is why he wanted to pay cash, and he is going to jet when he hears the price.

OUCH!! Seems like it's always the drivers side fender... So sorry to see that. I hope you get it resolved without issue.
