2003 coupe idle messed up !

OK before we go any further yes I checked the search box but could not find anything to compare my problem to.I unhooked the neg battery term and unplugged the maf then took the air box out to the tb and left it bolted up cleaned it and the maf put it back together then realized that I didnt unplug the tb while cleaning it but put it back together and did a full reset ecu ,idle air ect. now when I drive and push the clutch in to slow down or come to a stop the rpms drop down to 600 or so and then shoots right back up to 1300-1500 then slowly comes down to idle can someone tell me what to do to fix this do I need a new tb?

I can't decode what you cleaned. Can you enlighten us? Also, what cleaners did you use on what parts?

Look for the DIY Idle Reset, if you can't find it take your G into Nissan they can reset your idle in seconds....

I have done all the resets as you can read in my post and do have the reset directions .I have done them all and the ses light went off . I have read that if you move the throttle body by hand it will mess it up,also I forgot to unplug it before I cleaned it.

Moving the TB by hand does not mess anything up as long as the battery is disconnected (which you stated you did). This has been verified by a Nissan mechanic.

Same thing happened to me. I did the throttle body reset and ECU reset. It took a few tries until I got it right. Be patient. It will work.
