Oil Pressure/Rattle Issue

Hey guys I already posted on another thread over on 6mt that someone made about this issue but I couldn't really find a good answer on it so I'm checking to see if anyone over here could help me out. Here's my issue:

Last night I was driving to Atlanta from Nashville and as I was pulling in to get gas(turning onto the street next to the station) the low oil pressure screen popped up on my nav screen for a split second and then went away. The next time, I was just getting into my home city and I had to hit the brakes kind of hard for a light that just turned yellow and the screen came up again for just a second and then went away. The third time, I was turning onto my street and it came up and went away.

I checked the oil the first time it happened and it looked normal. After I got home I let the car rest in the garage for about 20 minutes and checked the oil and there wasn't a drop on it. I checked it again about 10 minutes later and it looked normal.

This morning while warming it up before heading to school is was making a very light rattling noise that it's naver made before. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with the oil, but the noise went away after about 10 minutes of driving.

Am I just worrying too much, is the oil low, do I have a bad sensor or what?
A couple people have told me my oil is low and when I go around turns it sloshes around so the sensor reads inaccurate measurements. As of last night before I went to bed, the oil level was normal so I'm not sure if that's the case.

Thanks!

Difficult to determine if its a bad sensor without having an oil pressure gauge fitted, however it sounds to me like you have got low oil level, hence the light coming on when in bends/braking, the problem is that when this happens it can lead to oil starvation/no pressure to various bearing surfaces, which could be the cause of your rattle, and in turn cause damage to the bearing surface, and may shorten the life, or cause failure.

You may be lucky, but to me the resulting rattle is not a good sign, but having said this i would talk to a specialist who is very failure with the VQ/HR engine, as it is possible that the rattle is caused by the oil pressure operated VVT system being starved of oil, and hopefully not damaged, good luck with it.

To begin you can't show zero oil on your dip stick and full the next morning, it either is or isn't! By what you describe with the oil light coming on and off I'd bet you don't have more than a quart of oil in your pan. Have someone check your oil level that knows how to read your dip stick. If you had just completed an oil change and the oil light was flashing then I'd buy the sensor claim but it's unlikely!
