Thanks guys it was more of a safety question if anything. The belt was shredded to a string and idk why. It seemed fine before that but oh well. I know if the belt on one of my old cherokees went out u better watch the temp cuz itll over heat real quick. It took longer to jack up the G and removed the plastic splash guard than it did to put the new belt in place.
