Re: 2005 nissan skyline

so that's what the new sedan aero kit looks like... not bad... the front lip looks more aggressive than the coupe's now... I wonder if it fits hehe...

Looks like they have a cloth interior available over there with the old style seats...

hmm... not liking the wood color but maybe if it was darker...

This may be useful since the seatbelts on the coupe suck ***...

Re: 2005 nissan skyline

DOOD the navigation looks sooooo much better! Does that mean that there's going to be a double din kit in titanium now? If so can the 2003-2004 people be able to put it on?

Re: 2005 nissan skyline

Why does the navi look different? Is it just the software or someting that different? And the audio system is there a reason why theirs looks more advanced? Does anyone know if its really better or not?

Edit: I found out from the Nissan Jp site that its a Pioneer sounds system and that you have not only the option of the base system, the Bose, and Pioneer but you also have the option of Kenwood, and others. Now anyone know where to get the Pioneer system shown here?

Plus a couple of others.

Re: 2005 nissan skyline

By the looks of the site the Skyline gets the option of getting the bose with optional tape player. The audio system looks like the 2005 model but with a slot for the tape player so this may mean good news for us 2003/2004 people.

Rambo..you should see the current Eclipse Units in Japan. The top of the line model actually uses satellite pictures from the sky for the actual overhed map which is overlayed by the digital icons and stuff.

Re: 2005 nissan skyline

guys....calm down. The nav is not all that better, that pic above was for an aftermarket pioneer NAV. NOT the factory one. So the *** isn't all that lucky. Other then this pic though, looks like they have bluetooth?? Whatever it is, damn, why couldn't they do this for the 2005 here in the US? blah! I found this pic just looking around the site above.

Re: 2005 nissan skyline

Most Navs in Japan have 3d graphics with the buildings. They can do this because compared to the US, the amount of land is pretty small so they can use the space on the DVD for building information. It would be nice if they did this in the US by splitting it into more DVDs rather than just east coast and west coast.

I would have thought the wood option would replace the aluminum. Not sure if I like the mix of wood and aluminum.

Re: 2005 nissan skyline

stupid infiniti.. they could have at least put the most used buttons on the correct side for the US version... like the volume, temp, and the navi joystick
