A while back i replaced my spark plugs and when i pulled the number 3 coil there was oil in the spark plug tube that covered half the boot... and i had done some reseach and found instead of replacing the entire valve cover ($400 for the pair!... ) i can pull the valve covers and just replace the tube seals for ($60 for all 6 tube seals from R&D factory) so i did the seals and know the car smokes on start up....

Any ideas?

 

If it wasnt happening prior to replacement then it has to be something that was just changed or replaced. Double check your work. Maybe pull a plug and see if there is still oil getting into the spark plug chamber.
