Slip, engine soon, VDC light ON

The other day out of no where the service engine soon, vdc, and slip light came on. The car has stalled out two times since yesterday drove fine, but today had trouble starting. The only thing that has been done to it is change my rotor and pads brake!

What could be wrong?

Been discussed many times, but I'll try to help you out. Did you check the brake fluid?

Is your SES light on? You need to have a code reader hooked up to your OBD2 port to pinpoint the particular issue. Otherwise you're grasping at straws trying to figure it out. Many auto parts stores will pull codes for you for free. Get those and come back here for more guidance.

those lights all come on together when something from either system (engine - ABS/VDC/SLIP) that communicate w/ each other thru lan/can trips an error code. ie; Engine misfire makes engine code trip then ABS unit cannot read proper engine speed OR low battery voltage trips code for low voltage in ABS control unit, etc etc. There are several things that can make all these codes trip at once and should be scanned with the Consult3 scan tool and properly diagnosed by the dealer. otherwise you wind up w/ mis-diagnosis and wasted$

when this happened to me in december, it was the bank 1 cam sensor.

I would run the codes before having both replaced.

you should change cam sensors in the pair b/c they usually get sludged up, ran dry of oil/overheated at similar times. Save yourself $ and time in the big picture cause when one goes the other one is close behind
