Rear Rattle Problem (interior)

Hello,

I have been experiencing a rattle/creak/moan from the rear of my vehicle. I am under the impression the noise is only audible inside the vehicle. It doesn't have to do with the doors. I think it might be the rear seat, backrest, or deck. I have reclining seat backs in the rear. I stumbled on some good guides to taking apart the rear seat to check bolts as well as the rear deck to add foam to reduce rattle about 6 months ago, but am no longer able to locate them. Can anyone help with some advice or links to these guides? I am having trouble finding them.

Do a search for "Rear Deck Rattle" I think thats what they call it. There might even be a TSB out for this, so Infiniti might take care of it for you.

I only have one rattle that aggravates me, that's the handle on the passengers seat that tilts it back. It doesn't do it all the time just when the seat is in a specific position....super glue will fix it!

Its an 05. The handle is on the seat. I will keep an eye on the lever to see if that is what is making the noise. I will let you know what I find out.

Do you have aftermarket shocks? If so, there is a nice write up on my350z for fixing it.

I had a rear deck rattle. Put a foam weather strip there, problem solved.

Did you have to remove the deck to put it in?
