the g35 coupe is nearly 900 dollars cheaper a year for me on insurance, but I'm a 20 year old married man. lol. I do like the is, but for some reason its insurance is way higher. also, the stock performance is better on a g35. I got a pretty optimal g35 for 11k. 03 6mt with brembos and factory 18's.

If you're coming from a Lexus and moving onto a G35, you're going to be disjointedness. In terms of reliability.

How many times has your IS had window motors issues, door lock issues, sun roof issues, rear axle clicks, oil pooling on the spark plugs, compression rod bushing cracking, window and door seal issues, battery draining because of the radio, poor tire wear, alignment issues, popping and clanking noise from all over the place, can fill you gas tank to full issue, etc etc.

If you decide to go with the G, good luck man. I say you test drive one more than a few minutes.

And that G you got up there looks like shlt. Find something better.

It's also at the 70k miles mark. Which mean oil is now pooling onto the plugs, the compression rod bushings are shot, the door seals / windows seal are cracking, the window now only rolls up when it's not raining and so on.

Example:

Is300: Has only 8 TSB from 2001-2005.

G35: Has over 400 from 2003-2007

Dont listen to anything this d-bag says as hates on the G all the time.
1. Looks...need i say more
2. Luckily my only problems have been the window motors
3. AS d-bag above says about tsb's...well my 2003 with 88,000 miles (77,000 miles boosted) is still running like a champ.
