Hey
first I got 03 G35 coupe
i can hear the sound when i push the gas pedal hard(not a kick down)
the sound is obvious when the rpm is above 3
and the sound is gone when the car shifts
the sound look like ZZZZZZzzzzzzz.

i thought that was from the rotation belts i changed them
but the sound persists.
any help or recommendation would be appreciated

Heat Sheild? Does it happen only when at a certain rpm or are you saying its always there, just loudest above 3000 rpm? Any aftermarket parts?

 

I don't think it's the heat shield because the sound is coming from the front near the motor and the pulleys.
i can't really explain when it happens but i can say
u know when u just moving smoothly and suddenly hit the gas pedal hard
and the rpm then hit above 3000 the sound starts here and then after the car shifts to the next gear the sound would disappear.

i'm wondering if the sound is from one of the pulleys but i'm not that sure.

 

Auto or manual? Any aftermarket parts?
