OTOH I'm 19 and I bought my G35 last year when I was 18; I did some stupid crap in it. When I was 16 I drove a Lexus SC. Don't even get me started in the BS I did in that. You're young, you're wild, but you're not invisible/immortal. Drive safe, USE YOUR HEAD, and when people on the road are trying to instigate you to race, ask yourself, "Is it worth it to ______ (severely injure/kill myself, my passengers, other innocent people, etc.)?". Nonetheless remember to enjoy the car, and to enjoy does not necessarily mean speed.

Athens Blue G35 Coupe 6MT
OTOH I'm 19
Jeez I feel old.

OP, you get the most power (with a few exceptions) at the highest RPM. Pedal to the metal, shift just before redline.

How does that work for you?
Don't you have to let one of those off eventually?

I didn't feel like typing a detailed paragraph for a 3 second process thats easy to learn. My post still holds true, the OP should have enough common sense to release the brake eventually. But, just in case, my post was edited.
