LOL.
But seriously. In my 5AT all I do is push the accelerator. All the way down to the floor. And when the needle nears the red mark on the tach, I push the gear lever forward.
OTOH I'm 19 and I bought my G35 last year when I was 18; I did some stupid crap in it. When I was 16 I drove a Lexus SC. Don't even get me started in the BS I did in that. You're young, you're wild, but you're not invisible/immortal. Drive safe, USE YOUR HEAD, and when people on the road are trying to instigate you to race, ask yourself, "Is it worth it to ______ (severely injure/kill myself, my passengers, other innocent people, etc.)?". Nonetheless remember to enjoy the car, and to enjoy does not necessarily mean speed.

I didn't feel like typing a detailed paragraph for a 3 second process thats easy to learn. My post still holds true, the OP should have enough common sense to release the brake eventually. But, just in case, my post was edited.
