03 g35 with 5k..just bought , whats the best kinda oil to use ?!?!?

German Castrol is easier to find and alot cheaper than amsoil. Find it at your local autozone. When Castrol is on sale it's usually $30 for 5 quarts an a filter. Best deal around for one of the best full synthetic oils around. If you can't find any German/European Formula Castrol then go for the 5W30. That works great for our engines too, but you'll have to change every 5k miles or so.

Considering the oil consumption problems most Gs face...I'd recommend something cheap considering you're probably going to be topping it off on a regular basis. No sense in spending a fortune.

Seriously....^....do you honestly believe most of us have OC issues? Not! My first oil change was made with Mobil 1 and K&N filter at 1K miles. I tired RedLine synthetic but after doing some research switched to AMSOIL and WIX filters. With 45K miles on SLICK she doesn't use a drop of oil between changes.
