I have spent all freaking weekend working on this turd! It was bad enough that the front comnpression arm was seized to the stud but now the rear lower bolts that attached the lower shock mount is siezed in the bushing. I put heat and Kroll on it and ended up spinning the bushing in the housing! Please tell me I don't have to replace the trailings arms for a dumb a$$ bushing??!!

not sure how u spun the bushing in the arm? the strut bottom mount uses a through bolt and nut..you should be holding the bolt head still while spinning off the nut. impact gun helps. as for the comp rod that is a common problem, if u have a good impact hammer (and good hand and eye) w/ a sharp chisel bit u can slice the metal bushing sleeve off. of course, u should rip the rod apart from the bushing and remove it out of the way first.

Wasn't that hard. Not sure if they changed through the years but my strut has the nut welded to it. I was able to heat and get that portion unstuck but the bolt rusted inside the metal sleeve in the bushing. I hit it with an impact and then got a breaker bar, started turning out of the end when I realized the bushing was spinning too. I will post some pics up of the suspension. The car doesn't look like it has 132K on it but the suspension looks like is has 232K! Unreal the quality of the metal. Every single bolt nut and the likes was rusted. I have cut more nuts off on this thing then any other car I have worked on. That includes rusty *** Porshces that have the floors falling out of them.
